Active state license required or compact state license
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience with Meditech
charting system required. Experience handling high-risk obstetrics
preferred. Community hospital experience preferred. Description: We
are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.
The nurse will work in a perinatal setting. The role requires
working night shifts, with a schedule of 3 shifts per week. Every
other weekend is required. Floating may be required as needed
within the scope of the role. The nurse will be responsible for
triage of obstetrical patients. The position requires the use of
external fetal heart monitoring and maintaining telemetry.
Candidates must have experience assisting with vaginal deliveries
and cesarean sections. Additional responsibilities include neonatal
resuscitation and postpartum care. Collaboration with
interdisciplinary teams is essential. We prioritize providing
support and education to parents. Knowledge of high-risk antepartum
care is a plus. The role may involve assisting with sterile
procedures and monitoring vital signs. Ideal candidates will have
experience with infant identification and discharge teaching. This
position demands excellent clinical skills and the ability to work
in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must adhere to safety
protocols and maintain compliance with health standards.
