Job Description:
This position of K-7 Special Programs Teacher is responsible for
teaching students with
disabilities ranging from Developmental Delays, Intellectual
Disabilities, Autism, and Multiple
Disabilities. Special Programs across the district are all commonly
aligned to the districts Comprehensive Guide to Structured Teaching
while developing individualized programs based upon students
Special Education evaluation recommendations, IEP team decisions,
and Least Restrictive Environment considerations. Service areas may
include but is not limited to, Functional Academics, Social
Emotional Behavior, Cognitive, Communication, Adaptive, and
Prevocational skills.Required
