your future with us. Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking
for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support the Skin &
Spar Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU) team onsite in Puyallup,
Washington. This role will primarily be based out of Puyallup,
Washington and require frequent travel to Auburn, Washington. This
position is 2nd shift. This Senior Manufacturing Manager will lead
team members and will be responsible for the People, Safety,
Quality, Delivery, Cost & Innovation performance while delivering
product to our internal Boeing Programs. In this role, there will
be regular interaction with the cross-functional production support
team, operations, executive leadership, and regulatory agencies.
This position requires strong leadership and people skills, the
ability to problem solve, proactively identify issues, and develop
and communicate action plans. Position Responsibilities: - Manages
employees and first-level managers performing activities within
multiple manufacturing disciplines - Develops and executes
integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides
input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and
objectives - Acquires resources for department activities, provides
technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements -
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with
customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports -
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products
and processes - Manages, develops and motivates employees and
first-level managers Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): - 5 years of experience working in an
aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment - 5 years of
experience leading teams and direct reports - 5 years advising and
influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve
technical or operational problems - 5 years of experience using
lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and
tools in the workplace Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's degree or higher - 3 years of
experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams - 3 years
of experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams - 3
years of experience leading, managing, or implementing Lean
initiatives - 3 years of experience leading or managing Corrective
Actions or Root Cause Analysis - 3 years of experience effectively
communicating with employees, peers and senior leadership -
Experience in building a culture of safety and quality Drug Free

Summary Pay Range: $141,300 - $181,000 Applications for this
