Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vehicle Upfit Purchaser to manage the sourcing, procurement, and coordination of equipment and services required to upfit fleet vehicles. This role works closely with vendors, internal fleet teams, and operations to ensure vehicles are equipped to meet organizational and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Source and procure vehicle upfit components (e.g., lighting, racks, safety equipment, communications systems). Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Coordinate upfit schedules with internal fleet/operations teams. Track purchase orders, invoices, and budgets related to vehicle upfitting. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate procurement records and inventory levels. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Assist with fleet standardization and equipment selection. Qualifications: 2 years of purchasing, procurement, or fleet-related experience. Familiarity with vehicle upfitting, automotive equipment, or fleet operations preferred. Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Skills Knowledge of fleet compliance and safety standards. Experience working with upfit vendors and automotive suppliers.
