Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and
results-oriented Manager to lead the AMER Delivery Operations team
within the Data Center Planning and Delivery organization. This
role is responsible for driving end-to-end program management
across a portfolio of high-visibility initiatives that directly
impact AWS's ability to deliver infrastructure capacity on time and
at scale across the Americas region. The ideal candidate is a
strategic thinker and operational leader who thrives in ambiguous
environments, earns trust across senior stakeholders, and
consistently raises the bar on process excellence, organizational
accountability, and team development. Key job responsibilities CAR
Program Management: Lead end-to-end Capital Approval Request (CAR)
program management, including executive coordination and regional
program ownership across Delivery, Energy/Water, and Real Estate
workstreams. Lead supplemental and reallocation support activities,
ensuring timely and accurate execution across program cycles.
Continuously identify process efficiencies, reduce level of effort,
and apply lessons learned to drive standardization and scalability
across the CAR program. Core Business Operations Lead
Director-level goal review meetings and coordinate
cross-functionally with VP-level teams to ensure strategic
alignment across the organization. Support the headcount allocation
through training delivery and PID distribution. Partner with
Finance during Operating Plan (OP) cycles to coordinate headcount
requests, support headcount model development, and track
Director-level metrics. Drive organizational visibility and
accountability through Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs), Quarterly
Business Reviews (QBRs), and regional Monthly Business Review (MBR)
support. Coordinate exemption requests around critical business
dates to protect delivery timelines and minimize operational
disruption. DCBM STO / Generative AI Lead their team to drive Data
Center Build Manager (DCBM) program coordination, including
customer feedback loops, feature request management, and launch
communications. Build and scale advanced Generative AI automation
capabilities to support operational efficiency and future
organizational growth. Knowledge Management & Training Champion
organizational learning by owning knowledge management, developing
and delivering training programs, and leading continuous
improvement initiatives. Establish scalable knowledge management
frameworks that enable team effectiveness and onboarding
excellence. On Time Delivery Program Lead technical infrastructure
program delivery across the AMER region, including milestone
tracking, risk mitigation, and issue triage. Track and report on
key organizational goals, including Incremental Capacity (S-Team
goal) and On Time Delivery (KPNS), ensuring timely escalation and
resolution of blockers. Serve as the primary point of
accountability for AMER regional delivery performance metrics. - 5
years of project management (including scope, schedule, budget,
quality, risk and critical path management) experience - 3 years of
team management experience - 3 years of experience managing
cross-functional programs with senior stakeholder engagement
(Director/VP level). - Experience with capital planning, headcount
management, or business operations in a technology or
infrastructure organization. - Demonstrated ability to develop and
implement scalable processes and mechanisms. - Bachelor's degree in
Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field. - Experience
in data center, infrastructure, or cloud capacity planning
environments. - Familiarity with CAR or capital approval processes
within a large enterprise. - Experience leveraging Generative AI
tools to drive operational automation and efficiency. - Strong
analytical skills with experience building and managing business
review mechanisms (WBR, QBR, MBR). - Proven track record of leading
teams through ambiguity and delivering results in a matrixed
organization. - MBA or advanced degree preferred. Amazon is an

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
