Sr. Programmer Analyst Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing
Company is currently seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst to join
the BGS Digital Customer Products organization in Seattle, WA. The
successful candidate will be part of the Data and Services System
(DSS) & Data and Services Catalog (DSCAT) IT team. The DSS is the
internal application used by the Contractual and Data Service
organization to process airplane manuals (e.g. AMM, FIM, SRM)
orders from external customers. DSCAT is the customer-facing
application accessed via MyBoeingFleet to order manuals. We are
seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented individual to lead
the development and maintenance of the DSS and DSCAT applications.
This person will also be responsible for leading the Modernization
and Technology Upgrades of these two systems. This hands-on role
requires a proven technical leader to help guide these systems
through a technological transformation. Hybrid role where
expectations are to be in the office one to two days a week in
Seattle, WA. Must be a US Person (Green card holder or US Citizen)
Position Responsibilities: Serve as the Lead Developer of the DSS
and DCAT applications, Ensuring Maintenance and Support of the
applications Build and maintain strong partnerships with business
stakeholders to deepen domain knowledge and align data solutions
with strategic needs Design and implement enhancements to the
applications on an Agile Release schedule Facilitate Configuration
Management and Lead Release Management Activities Define and
maintain system documentation Leads analysis of end user processes
to define application requirements Maintain and Updates System
Integrations Monitor System Performance and recommend improvements
Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or
designs application architecture that integrates application
software and delivery subsystems for specific applications.
Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality
and performance Lead and Execute IT Compliance Activities to
maintain satisfactory system compliance Leverage cloud knowledge to
migrate and maintain applications in a cloud environment
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand system
needs and deliver actionable insights Mentor and guide junior
developers and implement best practices Ability to collaborate with
a Global Team of developers; some Off-Hours Support will be
required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field
9 years of experience as a Developer 5 years of experience with
Linux (command knowledge, scripting skills, batch jobs, vi editor,
software installation, putty, crontab, tomcat) 5 years of
experience with Oracle Database knowledge (Complex Database Design
and SQL Query Knowledge, TOAD Knowledge) Experience in Linux/Unix
server architecture (e.g. directories, files, permissions, script
executions) 5 years of Java & Spring Boot technology experience 5
years of full-stack development experience such as Angular 5 years
of REST service and system integration technology experience 5years
of Test-driven development experience Proficiency of DevSecOps best
practices Experience in Azure DevOps Experience with Cloud
(Tanzu-Internal Cloud) Experience with Server FTP Experience with
Coverity Scanning and Remediating Findings Production Support
Experience Experience communicating with stakeholders and
cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): Experience in Azure Cloud Experience in
Salesforce Experience in SAP Experience with PKI Cert Renewals
Education: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced
technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years'
related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical
education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years' related work experience,
Master7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work
