Business Operations Analyst 3 Job Summary: Talent Software
Services is in search of a Business Operations Analyst for a
contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be a year
with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary:
The main function of a business operations specialist is to
maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for
non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an
administrative level, but below a management level. Other
responsibilities may include maintaining all project management
processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget.
The business operations specialist usually reports to a project
manager or director. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Establish and maintain communication services across business units
or from the project team to the organization. Maintain the storage
and retrieval of all project communications data and business
metrics. Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract
supplements. Set up project and work breakdown structures.
Establish and document business processes. Track project budgets
and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against
budgets. Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
Purpose of the Team: Focused on supporting Talent Management COE
tools. Key Projects: Serve as the primary project manager and
liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
Oversee initiatives from requirements gathering through to
implementation. Responsible for understanding and translating
opportunity areas and problem statements into clear, actionable
business requirements. Conduct user acceptance testing and
facilitate focus groups to ensure the end-user experience aligns
with business needs. Support the succession tool by maintaining and
enhancing the existing production module and implementing minor
changes in collaboration with engineering. Manage communications
with the business to elicit and refine requirements, support the
first-party tool, coordinate upgrades or changes, and ensure
seamless communication and alignment with the engineering team.
Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm: 30% testing, 30% focus
on the production module, and 30% focus on the first-party tool.

Experience Required: 5-7 years of experience required for the role.
Degrees or Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in business
management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field
required. SAP certification is a plus. Best vs. Average: The ideal
candidate is an independent worker with SAP certification,
experience in business analysis, and experience in stakeholder
management and requirements gathering. Performance Indicators:
Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, not
receiving escalations, and team feedback from the stakeholders.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience with program/project management
skills working with stakeholders. Minimum 3 years of experience
with Excel (VLOOKUPs, etc.). Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP
SuccessFactors Succession Module. Bachelor's degree in business
management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field
required. 5-7 years of experience required. Preferred: Verbal and
written communication skills, attention to detail, customer
service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently
and manage one's time. Knowledge of business and management
principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and
production methods. Ability to apply accounting and mathematical
principles to work as needed. Ability to analyze business trends
and project future revenues and expenses. Previous experience with
computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise
