Search team creates impacful, customer-focused search solutions and
technologies. The Search Customer Experience team is responsible
for the customer-facing features, information, and look & feel of
search results on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices globally. Our
Team lives within the Search Organization where we launch new
products and innovation on a daily basis. Our team leverages
sophisticated machine learning, data mining, and big data
technologies to help customers discover the right products. We run
usability studies and obsessively read customer feedback to improve
our search experience. Within Amazon broadly we partner with
category teams such as Apparel, Consumer Electronics, Books, and
Grocery as well as key business partners such as Advertising,
Alexa, and Video Shopping. Within Search we partner with the teams
that power search relevance, query understanding, browse, and
product recommendations. You will work backwards from the customer
to design an experience that uses customer engagement and query
understanding data to define and address customer frustrations.
You'll develop best practices for insights and KPIs to prove
success. You will guide a team of product managers, software
engineers, and scientists to deliver results. You will weigh
technology alternatives and be comfortable with products using
machine learning and AI generative content. You will have strong
judgment and understand which opportunities drive the most
strategic value for the business. Key job responsibilities We are
looking for a Sr. Product Manager-Technical to own Differentiation
for products Amazon's Search results. The area includes the
Amazon's Choice program, defining a strategy for badging and
product insights. You will define the CX vision, develop an
actionable product roadmap, and coordinate with tech, science,
infrastructure, and UX teams to rapidly experiment and implement
solutions. Candidates should have experience working in a fast
paced environment, have strong bias for action, and be comfortable
driving clarity from ambiguity. You will work with global teams -
both internal Search customers, and external tech partners, to
identify and prioritize needs, able to effectively influence up and
across the organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of
technologies and capabilities into high quality search experiences
customers love. A day in the life Successful candidates will enjoy
diving deep into data, have well developed analytical skills,
excellent communication strategies, and have experience with
executive level reviews. You will thrive in a collaborative,
creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are
comfortable interacting with technical software development teams.
You should have the experience and capability to prepare
documentation for senior executives. Experience managing customer
facing technical products and guiding cross-functional teams
through influence versus direct management are preferred. This is a
highly visible position that will interact with many teams in

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving
roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery
and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering
discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a
product - Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of
critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level
prioritization and planning PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in
using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight -

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
