Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 4/10 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM • Recovery unit operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM • Common shifts available: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (shifts negotiable) • On-call requirement: 5-7 days per month by sign-up • Call response time: 60 minutes required, 30 minutes preferred • Call schedule: weekday 9:30 PM - 5:00 AM, weekend day 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, weekend night 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM • Holiday coverage: on-call only • Required certifications: BLS/ACLS, NIHSS certification • Washington state license or compact license required • Must have admit/recovery experience • Hospital-issued surgical attire provided • Work with EPIC EMR system and PYXIS equipment • Handle 30 cases per day on average • Provide admit and recovery care for patients having left and right heart caths, complex PCI, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures • Work in 23-bay unit with 16 beds and radial lounge with 7 recovery chairs • No floating unless emergency response required • Floor-specific orientation less than 1 week if competent • Cancellation policy: up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This healthcare facility features a busy multimodality cardiac catheterization laboratory located on a beautiful brand-new campus that opened in December 2020.
