Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Silverdale, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,781 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Silverdale, Washington, 98383! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; 1 year of experience will be considered for those with prior travel experience. License: Active RN License required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred. Must-Have: Experience in LDRP, comfortable with independent deliveries and circulating in c-sections, ability to assist in catching and transitioning babies. Description: The unit consists of a total of 34 labor and delivery beds. There are 2 OR suites for C-sections and 2 triage beds available. The unit also has 14 postpartum beds. On average, there are 150-180 births each month, totaling 2,133 deliveries in the last year. The nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines: 1:2 for labor and delivery and 1:3-4 for couplets. RNs are required to titrate drips, which may include Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin. One surgical tech is available 24/7, and there is a patient care assistant with clerical duties on each shift. OB/GYN hospitalists and neonatal nurse practitioners are in-house 24/7 to assist with triaging patients and emergent cases. Anesthesia providers are also available on-site around the clock. Respiratory therapy equipment, such as vents, CPAP, and BiPAP, is accessible. The unit utilizes a telemetry monitoring system for patients. Block scheduling is available when requested. Weekend requirements involve working nights on Friday and Saturday. There are rotating holiday requirements, and nurses may be placed on standby with a 45-minute response time. Labor travelers are expected to function competently in postpartum care and participate in low-risk deliveries as needed. Scrubs are provided as part of the uniform policy. An orientation program includes compliance training and a unit-specific orientation. The management team is supportive and provides feedback to ensure quality work is maintained.
