an immediate opening for a friendly, patient focused and detailed
oriented Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The
Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the
completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with
all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of
the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to
Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical
and service goals. The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is
responsible for general clinic office functions that support
efficient and effective patient care including patient
registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable
co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and
follow-up appointments and answering phones. Schedule: This
position is 40 hours per week. The schedule will be determined by
the manger upon hire. The operating hours are as follows: -
Saturdays and Sundays between the hours 8:00 am to 5:00pm - Monday
through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Location:
1201 N 175th Street, Shoreline, WA 98133 Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet customers into practice and provide instruction and/or
direction as necessary both on the phone and in person - Obtain
accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address,
insurance information - Perform insurance verification on the date
of service - Obtain patient signatures for required documents -
Upload a valid Government issued state ID of patient and patient
insurance cards - Schedule and coordinate all patient appointments
as directed - Maintain an organized and clean work area, free of
clutter - Prepare all documentation and records with accuracy as
directed or necessary for the patient's care - Meet or exceed the
performance measures established by the Practice Management Dept. -
Follow established policy and procedures related to the position -
Participate and contribute to a team-based environment - Maintain a
team supportive attendance record - Understand and deliver quality
customer service that is consistent with Optum's efforts in
becoming a High-Performance Organization - Follow OSHA/WISHA
(including usage of PPE) guidelines - Follow HIPAA regulations -
Adapt and perform effectively in a continuously changing
environment, and in occasional difficult situations - Ability to
cover other offices as needed - Performs other duties as assigned

Diploma/GED (or higher) - 1 years of customer service or healthcare
related experience - 1 years of computer proficiency experience -
Ability to work a 40-hour flexible schedule between the hours
listed below: - Saturdays and Sundays between the hours 8:00 am to
5:00pm - Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am to 7:00
pm Preferred Qualifications: - 1 years of experience working in
medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling
appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification,
collecting co-pays, and maintaining medical records - Experience
working in the healthcare industry - Knowledge of medications and
medical terminology - Experience working with an electronic health
record (EPIC) Soft Skills: - Ability to work independently and
maintain good judgment and accountability - Demonstrated ability to
work well with health care providers - Strong organizational and
time management skills - Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
to meet all deadlines - Ability to be empathetic and kind towards
patients - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced
environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a
manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand
and interpret information from others Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to local labor markets,
education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to

hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour
