Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Provide specialized care in an intensive care unit
setting, focusing on patients facing critical conditions such as
heart attacks, strokes, severe trauma, respiratory distress, and
other life-threatening medical issues. This role demands
comprehensive assessment, planning, and implementation of patient
care plans while working closely with a dedicated critical care
team. Key Responsibilities: - Assess patient conditions and develop
individualized care plans - Administer advanced life support,
intravenous fluids, medications, and wound treatment - Monitor and
adjust medical equipment including ventilators and intra-aortic
balloon pumps (IABP) - Assist physicians with medical procedures -
Observe, record, and report vital signs accurately - Provide
suctioning and other respiratory support interventions - Advocate
for patient needs and educate families - Adapt to floating between
intensive care and long-term acute care (LTAC) units based on
census demands Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Washington RN
or multi-state RN license - ACLS and BLS certifications through the
American Heart Association - Proven ventilator and tracheostomy
care experience - Strong critical care nursing background - Ability
to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
