Overview: The Senior Mammography Technologist is responsible for
conducting specialized radiological procedures aimed at diagnosing
and treating breast diseases, ensuring the delivery of high-quality
imaging in outpatient environments. This role includes performing
quality control tasks in accordance with FDA and MQSA regulations
and may also involve additional radiographic examinations such as
bone densitometry. Candidates must possess formal training in
radiologic technology, relevant certifications, and experience in
mammography, collaborating closely with clinical teams to provide
empathetic patient care. Position Description This role entails
executing a range of radiological technical procedures specifically
tailored for diagnosing and treating breast diseases in a busy
outpatient setting, whether stationary or mobile. The technologist
is accountable for generating high-quality radiographic images
while ensuring a caring and supportive interaction with all
patients. Additionally, the position requires performing necessary
quality control activities as stipulated by the Mammography Quality
Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, either as a designated Quality
Control technologist or under their supervision. Depending on the
location, the technologist may also need to apply general
radiography skills to conduct diagnostic radiology exams, perform
bone densitometry (DEXA), or carry out breast-related special
procedures in collaboration with physician staff. At our

of a formal radiologic technology training program that meets the
criteria for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) Upon hiring: Washington Radiologic
Technologist license Upon hiring: National Provider BLS
certification from the American Heart Association Upon hiring:
National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must obtain
National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within
one year of hire Desirable Qualifications: Two years of full-time

wage range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this
position. The successful candidate's placement within this range
will be determined based on relevant experience and other
applicable factors. This range represents base pay; additional
compensation may be available for this role, including shift
differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift
