Pay Information $1,837 to $2,024 per week About The Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN) StartDate: 12/1/2025 Available Shifts: 12 E Pay Rate: $1836.59 - $2024.00 CLINICAL INTERVIEWING ~ Level II Trauma CenterLevel IV NICUBeds: 60 (21 Inpatient Holding; 2 Psych Rooms, 14 Hall Spaces)Avg 140-150 patients per day.Experience: 1 yr strong ED experienceFirst-time traveler: NoPatient Types:Patient types from peds to geriatricsTrauma, GSW, sepsis, COVID, STEMI, Stroke, DKA, mental health, respiratory issues, Adult Psych, chest painHigh acuity receiving facilityPatient Ratios:1:4Can flex 1:5 if low acuity patientRequired Certifications:BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI/MOAB, Traveler Competency ExamSkills Required:General ED experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and basic ED knowledge of drips and med administration, procedural sedation, blood administration, cardiac medicationsSupport on the Unit:ER tech– glucose checks, assisting with splintingCharge nurse: rarely takes an assignment Resource/Float Nurse (pending staffing)RT -24/7ED EducatorSecurity for safety 24/7House Supervisor 24/7Pharmacy 24/7: assists in codesCharting System/Equipment:EMR: EpicIV Pumps: AlarisMedication dispensing system: PyxisCentral and bedside Telemetry monitoring at the nursing station; no tele techFloating:NoneOrientation:1st day: NEO (badge, EPIC training if needed), meet with educator3-4, 12-hr shift with a preceptor (on assigned shift)Traveler Telemetry Competency RequiredRequired to be completed and passed prior to start.
