Job Description:
MRI Technologist at Providence Health and Services summary: The
MRI Technologist at Providence St. Peter Hospital performs MRI
scans, including setup, imaging, and filming, while communicating
with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families. They are
responsible for contrast injections, quality control, scheduling,
and equipment maintenance, ensuring high-quality diagnostic
imaging. This role requires specialized certification and training
in radiologic technology and MRI procedures, with on-call duties as
needed. Description This position is responsible for MRI
technologist duties at PSPH. Responsibilities include performing
MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position
also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other
physicians, patients and their families, and other persons.
Additional responsibilities include performing contrast injections,
performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining
day-to-day schedules, and assisting radiologist. Operates and
maintains MR, and auxiliary equipment. On call requirements.

2 years community college/vocational training in an accredited
Radiological technologist program. Or Equivalent of 2 years
community college/vocational training in an accredited Radiological
technologist program. Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon
hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists Within 1 year of hire National
Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Or Within 1
year of hire National Certified MRI Technologist - American
Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Preferred
Qualifications: 2 years Sub-specialty MRI, Scanning, or Imaging
