together. /n Under general supervision, the pharmacy technician in
the Anticoagulation Clinic (ACC) is responsible for providing
technical support under the supervision of a registered pharmacist,
which includes but is not limited to: medication order triage,
pending lab orders, triaging incoming patient calls, in-basket
management, and supporting ACC clinicians (PharmD, ARNP, RN). The
technician’s duties require interaction with physicians, nurses,
and other health care providers. /n Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour
shift between 7am-5pm PST (shifts determined following training
period) /n Location: 3901 Hoyt Avenue, Everett, WA /n Primary
Responsibilities: /n /n - Patient Care /n /n - Patient outreach via
telephone, MyChart, or other means /n - Provides basic
technological support for patients (i.e. telehealth visits, signing
up for MyChart, etc.) /n - Support scheduling/rescheduling of
patient visits to ensure patients have follow-up /n - Ensures
patient access to materials (i.e. mailing patient education
handouts and other handouts, test strips for home INR patients,
etc.) /n /n /n - Workflow Management /n /n - Manages and triages
incoming calls to the department /n - Management of telephone
encounters in in-basket/pools /n - Requests ARNP/Pharmacist/RN
intervention when needed /n - Tracks and retrieves patient lab
results /n - Triages orders in an appropriate manner /n - Track and
inform clinicians of patient discharge from acute care facilities
(i.e. hospital, skilled nursing) /n - Performs monthly controls for
Coaguchek Point of Care devices /n - Check for outdated medications
and supplies and removes them from inventory /n /n /n -
Interactions with Teammates /n /n - Maintains professionalism and
courteousness in interactions with patients and teammates /n -
Answers non-discretionary questions from patients and teammates /n
- Cleans and maintains clinic areas /n - Keeps desk, work areas,
and counter tops cleaned and free of clutter /n - Maintain
knowledge and skills needed to perform duties /n - Support training
of new technicians, pharmacy interns, and clinicians /n /n /n - All
staff members are to promote a positive and productive work
environment by acting maturely and responsibly, satisfactorily
performing his or her job responsibilities and conducting
themselves in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner
toward fellow employees, physicians, and patients /n - Must relate
to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: (a) get

extreme; (b) perform work activities requiring negotiating,
instructing, supervising, persuading, or speaking with others; and
(c) respond openly and appropriately to feedback regarding

instructions as well as complete routine tasks independently /n -
Completes annual compliance training on

Statement and signs Agreements /n - Ensures confidentiality of
patient information following HIPAA guidelines and Optum policies
/n - Attends training to meet requirements of the job position and
as needed or mandated by Optum policies, Div. of Occupational
Safety & Health (DOSH), OSHA, L&I and other state/federal
regulations /n - Has regular and predictable attendance /n -

Qualifications: /n /n - High School Diploma/GED (or higher) /n -
Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Washington /n -
Completion of a Pharmacy Technician certification program approved
by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy /n - 1 years of
experience as a Pharmacy Technician /n /n Preferred Qualification:
/n /n - 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician /n -
Epic or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience /n -
Retail Pharmacy Technician experience /n /n Soft Skills: /n /n -
Proven organizational skills /n - Proven solid and clear verbal and
written communication /n - Proven ability to learn and apply
computer skills /n - Proven attention to detail /n - Proven ability

The sign-on bonus is only available to external candidates.

$33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to local labor markets,
