Job Title: Care Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required; CCM or ACM preferred Must-Have: Inpatient acute care experience is required Description: The position offers the option of either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. The start date is as soon as possible. A 4x10-hour option may be available upon request. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend availability is required every other week. Floating between similar units is required to meet facility needs. Local candidates are not accepted. The local radius rule is 50 miles. Pending licenses are not accepted. There are no restrictions on requested time off, but it is preferred to remain under seven days. Experience with Milliman Guidelines or InterQual Criteria is a plus. The average daily census is 30. Supervisory references covering one year within the last three years are required. Candidates should confirm availability for an interview and provide three different time slots. If the clinician is local, they must acknowledge commute time and distance. Candidates should understand that transitioning from temp-to-perm after 13 weeks is a mutual decision. Transportation must be reliable, and clinicians should secure housing before acceptance. Completion of all onboarding items must occur within 72 hours of acceptance.
