Description: Unit WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY TRAVELERS WITH LICENSE HITS
DEALING WITH DIVERTING MEDS OR ENDANGERMENT - DO NOT SUBMIT IF YOU
ARE AWARE OF THIS. THESE HITS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE CONTRACT

NICU: 2 of beds: 20 12Ratios: 1:1-3 depending on acuity and
staffingRequired Certifications: NRP, BLSCommon diagnoses/Types of
patients: Extremely premature/premature patients, BPD, HIE, feeding
intolerance, respiratory support, sepsis/meningitis, NOWS/ESC,
HyperbilirubinemiaExperience or 'Must have' skills: Ability to care
for gestations down to 32 weeks or greater than 1500 grams, NC,
HFNC, CPAP, NAVA, conventional vent equipment, use of feeding
pumpsAre RNs required to titrate drips?: YesCommon titratable
&/or set rate drips: BP drugs, TPN/D10, InsulinCharge
Nurse/House Supervisor: BothAre there nurse aids on this
unit/Ratios: NoNeonatologist in house 24/7?: Neonatologist no
ARNP/PA yesRT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): HFOV, HFJV,
Conventional vent, CPAP, HFNC, NCIs there tele on this unit?
Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: Yes, nurses read stripsShifts &
Scheduling: 3-12s per week 4 week schedulesWeekend Requirement: Can
