Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Fri-Sun Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: 2 years License: Yes Certifications: BLS, Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) Must-Have: 2 years of MRI experience Description: Candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN within the past year. The department performs various imaging studies including neuro, body, and musculoskeletal MRI. The technologist will average 13 scans or studies per day. Scanners used in the department include Siemens TIMS Symphony and 3T Trio. The technologist will need to initiate IVs as part of their duties. There is a limited on-call requirement. Scrubs are not provided; candidates must bring their own. Orientation will occur during the first full week of employment. The facility has a radiologist on-site. The department utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records and McKesson for PACS. Cancelation can occur for up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. No holiday work is required unless mutually agreed upon.
