Job Description:
The Therapist of Mental Health Services located in the
Post-Intensive Behavioral Health Treatment Facility (Bridge Point)
Discharge Housing program provides clinical counseling services to
young adults' intensive behavioral health care to community-based
living. They provide clinical care by conducting mental health
assessments, short and long-term therapy, case management, and
crisis intervention. The Therapist is a key member of the
Behavioral Health team and plays a crucial role in providing
support to the community. essential duties Clinical Services Tasks
Provide evidence-based and culturally responsive therapeutic
interventions and services to young adults transitioning out of
intensive behavioral health treatment.Administer mental health
assessments, provide individual and group counseling
sessions.Maintain awareness of crisis intervention best practices
and provide crisis support to clients, as needed.Diagnose mental
health conditions in accordance with the most recently published
Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM).Collaborate with the housing team to provide clinical input
into individualized care plans and support alignment between
behavioral health and housing stability goals.Provide clinical
consultation, coordination, and referrals in collaboration with
discharge planners, housing case managers, and other care team
members.Administrative Tasks Attend weekly/bi-weekly individual
meetings with Clinical Supervisor to review cases.Participate in
employee case consultations and division meetings.Maintain
awareness of the divisions within the agency and its internal
resources.Improve knowledge about current best practices for
various diagnoses and mental health concerns through
research.Maintain case records in an accurate and timely manner per
all WAC, COA, Medicaid and King County requirements.Collaborate
with internal and external providers to support successful
transitions fromintensive care to long-term stability in the
community.job requirements Education and ExperienceMaster's degree
in human services field.Licensed with the State of Washington as an
LICSW/LSWAIC. LMHC/A, or LMFT/A.Minimum of 1-year relevant work
experience with children, youth, and/or families.Demonstrated
knowledge of MS365 Power Platform. Additional RequirementsMust
satisfactorily pass criminal history check.Must satisfactorily pass
tuberculosis (TB) test.Must have reliable transportation. Must
successfully complete the following health certification
requirements within 30 days of employment: CPR, First Aid and
Bloodborne Pathogens.Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.We
