Job Description:
This full-time weekend night RN position in the newborn nursery
involves managing and delivering patient care using the nursing
process. Responsibilities include assessment, developing care
plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes.
Supervises and coordinates licensed and non-licensed staff,
providing guidance and mentorship. May be required to float to
other units and participate in on-call duties. Adheres to safety
goals and population-specific competencies. Must hold an active
Oklahoma RN license or multistate license, with BLS certification
upon hire. Requires effective communication in English and
completion of core and unit-specific competencies within specified
timeframes. Potential exposure to infectious materials and
chemicals; standard precautions apply. Additional physical demands
and respiratory fit testing may be required.
