Outcomes-Driven Orientation: Sets clear objectives, pursues excellence, and delivers measurable outcomes while upholding Jesuit Catholic values.Position DescriptionReporting to the Senior Associate Director of AdmissionsOperations, the Assistant Director of Admissions Systems manages and optimizesthe Slate CRM system, enhances electronic admissions processes, and ensuresdata integrity. This role provides hands-on troubleshooting, user training, andtechnical support while collaborating with campus partners to improve systemfunctionality, reporting, and data integration.Essential Functions:CRM Management (50%)

  • Assistin the evaluation and improvement of electronic processes throughout theundergraduate admissions cycle. Serve as a Slate captain, leading annualcycle preparation and ongoing efforts to enhance admissions processingefficiency.
  • Work directly with functional users gathering and defining user requirements for large and small projects, analyzing information about business processes, identifying system solutions and/or incorporating processes to meet unique user requirements.
  • Assessbusiness requirements, identify gaps in current functionality, recommendenhancements, and develop innovative features to advance Slate CRM usagebeyond industry standards.
  • Ensure theresolution of data errors and issue with a strong attention to detailwhile maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and first-level support for CRM-related issues, collecting details, diagnosing problems, managing user expectations, and escalating urgent or complex cases as needed. Work closely with campus partners and IT services to resolve system and application issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Provide support of daily operations of the CRM functionality in the areas of event management, reports and dashboards, form development, data uploads and other routine tasks. Establish processes and protocols to ensure data quality is maintained and to streamline policies and requests for maximum efficiency.
  • Create and deliver end-user training/documentation and develop ongoing assessment to ensure consistent use of technology tools. Provide functional and technical support across CRM users with varying levels of technical skills.
  • Oversee userexperience, access, and system development across technology platformswhile collaborating with the Sr. Associate Director to optimizerecruitment and marketing technology. Provide guidance on systemcapabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and update virtual portalexperiences for prospective and incoming students, internal staff, andother key stakeholders.Reportingand Data (30%)
    • Create, edit, and run data queries and reports in Slate.
    • Incollaboration with the Sr. Associate Director, analyze, map, and importdata into and out of Slate on a regular basis, including the CommonApplication, test scores, external vendors, and other offices.
    • Work withthe Sr. Associate Director to maintain data integrity and quality, developnew data management processes, and validate reports to ensure accuracybefore publication.
    • Update andmaintain inquiry and applicant records.
    • Research andresponds to ad hoc data requests.Other Duties (20%)
      • Serve as aninternal expert to staff in producing and providing systems training andtraining materials.
      • Support the recruitment and admissions teams and its goal by partnering with the IT department to ensure the data integration among CRM, Student Information System and other tools operate smoothly.
      • Workinternally and with ancillary offices to support technology adoption anduse; enhance existing practices with improved processes to increaseefficiency and effective use of resources.
      • Generate andguide day-to-day projects for student workers as needed.
      • Assist withlarge on-campus events (preparation, logistics, staffing the event).
      • Support otheradmissions programs as needed, including file evaluation.
      • Performother related duties as requested.
      • SupervisoryResponsibility: Supervisor of 4-6 student employees.Qualifications
        • Bachelor's degreein a relevant field andthreeyearsprofessional work experienceOR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient tosuccessfully perform the essential job functions.
        • A commitment todiversity, equity, and inclusion, and supporting diverse student populations.
        • Advancedability to understand and navigate a complex relational database andcreate complex data queries.
        • Knowledge ofTechnolutions Slate or a similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM)system.
        • Workingknowledge of SQL, and HTML.
        • Knowledge ofworking in a Student Information System (preferably Ellucian Colleague).
        • Demonstrateinitiative and resourcefulness in working with limited guidance.
        • Strong speaking, writing, and interpersonal communicationskills are a must.
        • Highlyadaptable and comfortable with change, interruptions, and unexpectedevents.Preferred Qualifications:
          • Advanced knowledge of HTML and SQL Coding
          • 3+ Years working with an Admissions CRM
          • Transfer and first year admissions knowledge and experience

            Salary Range: $62,700 - $65,540

            Seattle University has provided a compensation range that representsits good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at thetime of posting.
