Job Description:
Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our
mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to
customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual

in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control
Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations,
candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent
resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted
into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. In this role, you
will design, build and maintain the lab infrastructure. Your role
will involve designing, integrating and providing continuous
support for satellite components & complex Radio Frequency (RF)
satellite and ground based hardware. A key aspect of your position
will be serving as a liaison between software teams and hardware
teams. In this capacity, you will build/design/enhance new HW/SW
systems to enable SW feature development and testing on satellite
platforms in the labs. Key job responsibilities * Technical
Expertise in RF testing equipment (VSA, VSG, GNSS simulators,
switches), RF up/down converters, time-varying channel emulation
and automated testing environments. * Integration and continuous
support of complex RF devices, testing equipment and Linux based
software systems. * Strong RF problem-solving and troubleshooting
abilities with the added ability to work individually and as a
member of a team. * Experience managing software development,
including integrating, troubleshooting and diagnosing RF related
software bugs. * Strong project management, communication skills
and technical writing. * Experience with RF testing equipment
automation using SCPI and a various RF equipment Python libraries
like PyVisa. A day in the life The successful applicant will be
experienced in designing new satellite system capabilities
(mobility, handover) to enable software teams the capabilities to
verify new features in the satellite & customer terminals. You
should be comfortable taking on ambiguous challenges like setting
up new pre-production hardware for the first time. You should be
able to define SOPs, metrics and alarms to keep equipment and test
infrastructure highly available and expand the teams capabilities
over time. You will be invaluable to enabling the team to move
quickly and confidently with robust verification frameworks that
scale with our systems. About the team The Leo Plexus team owns
satellite labs, tools and designing/enhancing system solutions for
new satellite SW features for ground and in space. BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS- Experience leading the design, automation,
deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure - Experience
programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby,
Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - Experience with Linux/Unix -
Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes PREFERRED

reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our
lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest
geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including
market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge,
skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
