Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Electrophysiology required License: Relevant state license required Certifications: BLS required One of the following required: ARRT R, RCIS, RCES Must-Have: Experience in scrub, monitor, or circulate for the following procedures: Atrial Fibrillation ablations Atrial Flutter ablations Supraventricular Tachycardia ablations Atrioventricular node ablations Pacemaker implantation Micra device implantation Biventricular implants Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion closures Lead extractions Lead revisions Loop recorder implant and explant Generator changes Description: Electrophysiology Technicians will work within a specialized lab environment. The role requires the ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate during various electrophysiology procedures. Candidates must possess hands-on experience with a variety of cardiac procedures and devices. Orientation consists of 40 hours of training prior to starting. All candidates must be prepared to float within the facility as needed. Dressing requirements specify that scrub colors must not include reddish-orange. EPIC charting experience is required. Travelers will be expected to commit to working some holidays. References must be provided to demonstrate experience in a comparable specialty.
