Job Description:
Develop, configure, and support Nuance solutions while providing
technical design guidance to Developers to ensure that efficient,
supportable, and reusable solutions are created. Interface closely with the sales
teams, Sales Engineers, Account Managers, and Project Managers to
estimate and architect solutions for non-standard client requirements. In
addition, he will participate in client facing meetings to scope solutions or
help sell the value of Nuance platform features, services and extensions.
Provide guidance on the design and development of packaged
customizations. Responsible for feeding these standardized extensions back into
the estimation tools and to Product Management for inclusion into
the base platform feature set. Responsible for providing design and
development guidance on client implementations. Interface closely with the
Services engineering team to create well-designed and lower TCO solutions
that meet client requirements. Interview, train, and conduct code reviews,
acting as an escalation point for technical issues, coordinating technical
teams on project work, and acting as a bridge to other teams.
Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information
Systems or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
plus three years' experience in Java software development and database
function or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) and five years' experience in Java
software development and database function. Candidate must also
possess: demonstrated expertise performing solution architecting and use
of Visio (or an equivalent design tool) to articulate design solutions;
demonstrated expertise performing software development using Java, design
patterns, J2EE, Hibernate, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Maven, XML, JSON,
JAXB, Swagger, Oracle, Webservices, SVN, and GIT; demonstrated
expertise leveraging Enterprise Integration Patterns and applying them
using Apache Camel; and demonstrated expertise working throughout network
architecture, including using Load balancer, network firewalls, TCP/IP, SSL,
