international markets while supporting innovative business
offerings like our satellite broadband initiative. You'll provide
strategic indirect tax guidance that directly influences how we
expand and operate across the globe, working with cross-functional
partners to solve real business challenges and drive our
international tax strategy forward. Key job responsibilities -
Provide strategic international indirect tax advice to Digital and
Devices business teams on current operations, new market
expansions, restructurings, and day-to-day tax questions across all
regions outside the US - Partner with business stakeholders and
external tax advisors to develop practical solutions for complex
international tax matters, considering both tax and non-tax
business implications - Collaborate with colleagues across the
global tax and finance department to formulate, communicate, and
execute international indirect tax strategy aligned with business
objectives - Coordinate cross-functional tax solutions by gathering
input from subject matter experts and ensuring alignment across
teams on tax approaches and compliance requirements - Support the
development and growth of junior tax team members through
mentoring, guidance, and collaborative problem-solving on
international tax matters A day in the life In this role, you'll
serve as a trusted advisor on international indirect tax matters,
collaborating with business teams, finance partners, and external
specialists to tackle complex global projects. You'll translate
intricate tax considerations into clear, practical guidance for
both tax and non-tax stakeholders, ensuring we account for business
realities alongside compliance requirements. You may also mentor
and guide more junior tax team members, helping them develop their
expertise while building solutions together. Your work will span
multiple regions and business initiatives, requiring you to balance
strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving. About the team We
support Amazon's Digital and Devices business lines—including
Alexa, Audible, Kindle, Amazon Games, Amazon Music, Prime Video,
Amazon Studios, Ring, and Twitch—while also playing a key role in
Project Leo, our initiative to bring fast, affordable broadband to
underserved communities through satellite technology. Our team is

across functions to anticipate challenges, share expertise, and

of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience -
Experience in taxation in a corporate environment, public
accounting firm or major law firm - Knowledge of international
indirect tax planning and strong understanding of or practical
experience with tax laws in other countries - Experience working
effectively across cross-functional teams and partner well with
people at all levels within an organization, including coaching of
junior staff - Experience with accounting concepts and tax
regulations, laws and standards - Experience with tax modeling in

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
