Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2
days remote) Type: 9-month contract Compensation: $40-$50/hour
(DOE) Job Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial
Operations Accountant to support accounting operations and
financial processes across the organization. This role combines
hands-on accounting, transactional oversight, and operational
process support to ensure accurate financial reporting and
efficient workflows. CPA is not required. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accounting operations, including accounts
payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity Support
month-end and quarter-end close processes Prepare and post journal
entries with supporting documentation Reconcile balance sheet and
income statement accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
Assist in preparation of internal financial reports and dashboards
Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor
inquiries Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to
improve processes and controls Participate in process improvement
initiatives and ERP system enhancements Support ad hoc accounting
and operational projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree
in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-6 years of accounting or
finance operations experience CPA not required Strong understanding
of GAAP and corporate accounting principles Experience with
month-end close and account reconciliations Proficiency with ERP
systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred) Strong Excel
skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) Strong
organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to
work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
environment Nice to Have Experience in a corporate finance
operations or shared services environment Exposure to system
implementations or process improvement initiatives Prior contract
