benefits package.Job Description SummaryEnterprise's Pacific
Northwest Office is seeking a Program Officer to join our team
working on Home & Hope Initiatives-Early Learning Facilities via
the nationally recognized Washington Early Learning Loan (WELL)
Fund. In two short years, the WELL Fund has deployed nearly $10
million in financing and grant funding to 30 different
organizations throughout the state, resulting in the development of
over 100 new early learning classrooms. This position will join a
high performing, values driven team focused on: increasing housing
supply, advancing racial equity and supporting upward mobility.
Under supervision of Senior Program Director, this position will be
responsible for building and tracking a pipeline of early learning
facilities projects; providing technical assistance to early
learning providers, non-profits or other community-based
organizations who are constructing new or expanding existing early
learning centers; manage grantees; and support the co-location of
affordable housing and early learning projects throughout the
region. This position will support program expansion with
significant new resources.The Program Officer has technical
expertise in one or more programmatic area(s): contracts and grants
management, housing and early learning facility development,
community development, and/or technical assistance to community
partners. This position will be responsible for implementing
existing programs with modification or adaptation to fit local
circumstances; may identify and suggest program ideas and
directions for consideration and development with manager; track
budget revenues and expenses; participate in proposal writing;
advance racial equity outcomes. Our team is working in a hybrid
environment, with offices located in the Seattle
Chinatown-International District. Salary Range: $64,400-$75,000.Job
DescriptionResponsibilities:Support the ongoing work of the WA
Early Learning Loan (WELL) Fund by helping to achieve program
outcomes related to new funding.Manage existing and new grantees
and contracts.Provide project management support for the
advancement of co-located affordable housing and early learning
facilities projects throughout the region.Provide Technical
Assistance in the form of: Facilities development, feasibility
analysis, acquisitions, financing, construction and other
development related activities, and capacity building to
applicants.Assist in marketing/outreach to early learning
providers, housing developers, and other partners within identified
targeted populations, which may include preparing materials,
planning and hosting community meetings or events with an emphasis
on equitable marketing strategies.Qualifications:BA in related
field and at least two (2) years of directly relevant experience
and/or four (4 years) generally related experience.Familiarity with
facilities development, affordable housing, as well as with basic
affordable housing finance.Familiarity with early learning and/or
community facilities development.Project Management
experience.Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent
critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Experience
in working with Microsoft Word and Excel and must be able to track,
review and analyze programmatic data.Operates independently under
minimal supervision; successfully handles new situations and
environments. Experience working in collaborative teams and a
diverse set of stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time
management skills; ability to work on multiple projects
simultaneously. Attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy and
quality of work. Curiosity, flexibility, and excitement about
sharing new skills and knowledge. Demonstrated commitment to racial
